Smith, Jessie L. Wheat

MARSHALL - Services for Jessie L. Wheat Smith, 78, of Marshall, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, 
September 8, 2007, at Canaan Baptist Church, with the Rev. Thomas Moore Sr. officiating. 
Burial will follow in Canaan Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lewis Funeral Home. Mrs. Smith 
died August 29, 2007, in Longview.

She was born March 10, 1929, in Marshall. Survivors include her daughters, Viola Smith and 
Angela Smith Parker; brother, Cecil W. Kennedy; and sisters, Sybil J. Wheat and Nona M. 
Roberts.
