Smith, Loyd 

MARSHALL -- Services for Loyd Smith, 82, of Hallsville, 
will be 1 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2006, at Westside 
Church of Christ, with Brother Eric Jackson officiating. 
Burial will be in Smyrna Cemetery. Arrangements are by 
Lewis Funeral Home. Mr. Smith died February 15, 2006, in 
Longview. He was born March 27, 1923, in Hallsville. 
Survivors include his wife, Frances Smith; daughters, 
Peggy Smith, Carol Sue Smith, and Linda Speed; and sisters, 
Carrie Lee Davis, Lillian Smith, Minnie L. Lewis, Revoyda 
Smith, Eloise Hill, and Bernice Johnson.
