Taylor, Josephine Powell

MARSHALL -- Funeral services for Josephine Powell Taylor, 57, of 
Hallsville, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2006, at the 
chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Carver 
Cemetery in Shreveport, La. Mrs. Taylor died November 15, 2006, in 
Marshall. Born October 12, 1949, in Shreveport, La., she was a member 
of Sweet Home Church of Christ and was employed as a custodian for the 
Hallsville school system. Survivors include her husband, Edward W. 
Taylor; son, David Cooks; daughters, Patricia Cooks and Josephine Cooks; 
sisters, Marcel Bailey and Katie Pryor; and brother, Daniel Pryor Jr. 
Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. Monday, November 20, 2006, at the funeral
