Thompson, John W.

NAPLES - Services for John W. Thompson, 85, of DeKalb, will be at 2 p.m. 
Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at First Baptist Church in DeKalb, with the Rev. 
Walter Jackson, Billy Blakeney and Robby Bates officiating. Burial will be 
in Woodmen Cemetery of DeKalb. Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home. 
Mr. Thompson died July 1, 2007, in Texarkana.

Born June 4, 1922, in Texarkana, he was a U.S. Army veteran, having served 
during World War II, 32nd Degree Mason, retired district manager from Arkla 
Gas Co. and former president of New Boston Chamber of Commerce. Survivors 
include his wife, Edna Earl Thompson.
