Tinkle, Jack D.

MARSHALL -- Graveside services for Jack D. Tinkle, 65, of 
Marshall, will be 2 p.m. Sunday, December 31, 2006, at 
Yates Memorial Cemetery in Scottsville, with the Rev. Don 
Burton officiating. Arrangements are by Downs Funeral Home. 
Mr. Tinkle died December 28, 2006, in Longview. Born August 
4, 1941, in Galveston, he was a longtime truck driver for 
Groendyke Transportation and member of Immanuel Baptist 
Church. Survivors include his wife, Iris Ann Rogers Tinkle; 
sons, Jackie D. Tinkle Jr. and James Michael Tinkle; and 
sister. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral
