Waits, Gradie Lee

MARSHALL -- Services for Gradie Lee Waits, 88, of Marshall, 
will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2007, at Pope City 
Baptist Church in Woodlawn, with the Rev. Leland Crawford 
officiating. Interment will be in Pope City Cemetery. 
Arrangements are by Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home. Mr. Waits 
died February 17, 2007, in Longview. Born September 1, 1918, 
in Carthage, he owned and operated Waits Kwik Stop in 
Marshall for 37 years and was a charter member of Pope City 
Baptist Church. Survivors include his son, Freddie Waits; 
daughter, Elaine Hall; and sister, Florene Henigan.
