Waldron, Lonnie Clinton TRINITY -- Funeral services for Lonnie Clinton Waldron, 82, of Trinity, will be 11 a.m. today, January 30, 2007, at Trinity Pines Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mark Gray officiating. Graveside services will be 4 p.m. in Cave Springs Cemetery of Marshall. Waller-Thornton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Waldron was born December 21, 1924, in Marshall, to Hulon Thomas and Ethel Berry Waldron. Lonnie proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a graduate of Marshall High School. Lonnie attended BMI Business College. Lonnie was a sales representative for U.S. Steel Corporation of Houston. After retirement, he moved to Trinity more than 20 years ago. He was a faithful member of Trinity Pines Baptist Church and a member of the NRA Association. He enjoyed fishing during his free time. Lonnie was preceded in death by his father and mother; son, Mark Waldron; and brothers, James and John Waldron. He is survived by his sons, Mike Waldron and wife, Linda, of Garland, and David Waldron and wife, Tina, of College Station; grandchildren, Amy Woolverton and husband, Jody, Stephanie O'Leary and husband, Bruce, Kathy Hardin and husband, Steve, and Sarah Searls and husband, Stephen; great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Caleb, Emmaline, Savannah, Brooke, Kelsey, and Kolby; brothers, Bobby Waldron and wife, Paulette, of Longview, and Elliott Waldron and wife, Demetria, of Washington; and sisters, Lois Kuykendall and husband, Tommie, of Longview, and Mollie Goss.
