Williams, Chris MARSHALL -- Services for Chris Williams, 72, of Marshall, will be 2 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 2006, at the Colonial Chapel of Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home of Marshall, with Dr. William "Bill" Rustenhaven and the Rev. Rusty Rustenhaven officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery. Miss Williams passed away June 8, 2006, in Longview. She was born February 3, 1934, in Marshall, to R.W. and Estelle Lundy Williams. She graduated from Marshall High School. Miss Williams was employed with SWEPCO as an executive secretary for the division manager until she retired after 42 years of employment. She enjoyed bowling, needle work, listening to music, reading, and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed. Miss Williams was preceded in death by her parents, R.W. and Estelle Lundy Williams; three sisters, Reba Nell Williams, Margaret Oney, and Lennie Hanson; and niece, Wendy Williams. She is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Vivian Nell Williams of Spring, and Raymond and Elaine Williams of Marshall; sister and brother-in-law, Jimmie Ruth and Billie Dickard of Hallsville; brother-in-law, Wilburn Oney of Harleton; nieces and nephews, Hollye and Jason Dutton of Texarkana, Ark., Brooke and Scot Akins of Texarkana, Tx., Carolyn and Forbes Baker of Houston, Nancy and Russell Pilgrim of Woodville, Kent and Lori Dickard of Kingwood, Kyle and Colette Dickard of Kingwood, Wes Williams of Spring, Bill and Billie Sue Hanson of Daingerfield, and John and Suzanne Hanson of Hallsville. Pallbearers will be Bill Hanson, John Hanson, Kent Dickard, Kyle Dickard, Jason Dutton, Scot Akins, and Russell Pilgrim. Memorial contributions may be made to Fairview Cemetery, 400 Alice Hope Rd., Marshall, TX; or to Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 501 Indian Springs Rd., Marshall, TX.
