The Texas Republican November 27 1852 Location: Marshall Description: Obituary. Died-- At his residence near Glade Spring, Texas, on the 6th of November, 1852, Major O. F. WILLIAMS in the 44th year of his age, after a lingering illness of 6 days. He was born in Hertford County, North Carolina, and left that state in company of his father, at an early age and at an early day to located in the unsettled region of West Tennessee, where he remained four years, when he returned to North Carolina and married a Miss WINBON, a lady to whom he has been attached from his boyhood; and shortly after moved with his wife to Fayette County, Tenn., where he spent nineteen years in contentment and happiness. He removed to Texs in 1849, and resided in Harrison County until his death.
