died: 1932 Malone, Texas

son of William Mandrell & Lucina Jane Rightnowar of Illinois..Death certificate states he died in Malone, Texas and is buried at Cottonwood Cemetery. His wife Geneva McKnight was born ca 1880 and died in 1917 in Hearne, Robertson County, Texas. She was the daughter of Gene McKnight and Dora Dawson. Family legend thinks John and wife followed the Dawson family from Robertson County to Dawson County.

Note from Mike Gray: My sister was not listed on the info. of Prarie Valley cemetary so we located the small homemade headstone and had a new larger granite stone set with the proper info.

I was searching through the Fort Graham Cemetery list today and wondered if you would want to update a few listings. My great, great Aunt Susannah A.C. (Thompson) Barton is buried there with all of her family which is confusing, but she has been left off of the list and I have seen her headstone in 1996 when I last came to Hill County, so I know it's there.
