Dave Bickham is Honored on 76th Birthday

Dave Bickham of Greenville was honored on two separate occasions for his 76th birthday.

On September 13, his big day, Mrs. Jonnie Nell Robinson served stew at her Greenville home. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. George A. Bickham, Celeste; Homer Robinson, the honoree, and his wife, Alma.

Last weekend, Mr. Bickham was honored by a family gathering in his home. His grandson, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Dan Bickham and Jeff, arrived on Friday from Nacogdoches, and the son, Mr. and Mrs. Joe David Bickham and Mickey, arrived on Saturday from Atlanta.

Others attending were Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson, Greenville; Steven Smith and Linda Smith, Atlanta; Larry Thompson, Carol Lynn Thompson, Rebecca Thompson, and Damon Thompson, Valliant, Oklahoma; and Mr. and Mrs. George A. Bickham, Celeste.

Damon, the nine-year old great-grandson, was also honored with the birthday cake he shared with Mr. Bickham.

Pictures were taken and the game "thirty-one" was played.
