L. L. McCraw, aged eighty-one years, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. A. M. Greer, at Peniel last Sunday, September 1, 1929, and burial was had at Farmersville.
    Deceased was a native of Tennessee and had lived in Hunt County, Texas, for a number of years.

He lived near Celeste for several years, coming to Peniel to live with his daughter about a year ago.

He is survived by seven children, Mrs. A. M. Greer of Peniel, M. D. McCraw of Farmersville, Mrs. Arthur Lyrich of Ardmore, Oklahoma; Mrs. C. R. Turner of Princeton, B. M. McCraw of Celeste, M. A. McCraw of Plainview, and Mrs. J. H. Perkins of Celeste.
