Ronnie Pickle, 20-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Pickle of San Diego, California, former Celeste residents, was killed Sunday, January 17, 1965, in San Diego, in an accident which occurred at a race track while he was watching the races.

He was the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Glasscock and attended Prairie Hill and Celeste schools when the family lived here.

J. W. Glasscock is an uncle of the deceased.
