COMMERCE — Alvin Curtis Malone, 83, of Commerce died Jan. 18, 2007, at his home. Graveside services are at 1 p.m. today at South Sulphur Cemetery with Brother Terry Bryan officiating.
Son of Henry and Zora Abernathy Malone, he was born July 17, 1923, in Aberfoyle. Mr. Malone was a farmer. He enjoyed raising goats.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Patsy Holt of Commerce; a niece, Glenda Malone of Plano; several grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Malone; a brother, Boyd Malone; and a niece, Carol Orr.
Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home of Commerce is in charge of arrangements.
