Royse City---Andrew (Andy) E. Thomason, 79, of Rt. 1. Royse City, died at 12:45 p.m. Monday at his residence.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Royse City First Christian Church with the Rev. F. M. Matthews, pastor, officiating. He will be assisted by the Rev. Maurice Hill pastor of Royse City First Baptist church.
Burial will be in the West Memorial Cemetery at Quinlan with arrangements by Royse City Funeral Home.
He was born on Jan. 10, 1892, in Quinlan, the son of George Washington and Elizabeth Deweese Thomason, He married Maggie Lou Cravy on April 6, 1911. He was a member of the Christian Church. He moved to the Millwood area in 1929 and had farmed in that area for 42 years.
Surviving are his wife; a sister, Mrs. Celia Scarborough of Lorraine; two brothers, Delbert Thomason of Wylie and Richman Thomason of Corpus Christi; a niece, Mrs. Chub Morrow of Josephine, two nephews, William Cooksey of Royse City and Charles Harwood of Nevada.
