Belah Inez Stratton Nalls

Greenville resident Belah I. Nalls, 89, died Thursday afternoon at Greencrest Manor Nursing Home. Services will be at Coker-Matthews Chapel today at 11:00 a.m. with Van Simpson and Rick Lynch officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park. Born in Hunt County on September 8, 1903, she was the daughter of Sidney T. and Alma Lavina McElyea Stratton. She married Louis Bradford Nalls in Cash on October 30, 1926. Mrs. Nalls was a school cafeteria worker in Greenville Junior High School and a member of Johnson Street Church of Christ. She is survived by two sons, Durwood Nalls and Verdane Nalls, both of Greenvile; two sisters, Marzee Walden of Dallas and Mildred Langford of Qinlan; four grandchidlren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on April 12, 1985; three brothers and a sister. Larry Nalls, Derek Nalls, Billy Craig, Farrell Nalls, Don Angell, and Mark Emory will serve as pallbearers.
