Charles McBride, 85, of Greenville died May 25, 2006, in Greenville. Charles was born Nov. 3, 1920, in Greenville. He was a retired handyman and he was a Christian. Charles loved his family and spending time fishing at Lake Tawakoni. He is survived by his sons, Charles E. Renate McBride of Grand Prairie and David McBride of Greenville; one brother, Donald McBride of Greenville; two grandchildren, Susan Berres and Connie Peterson; and great-grandchildren Steven Berres and Charles Peterson. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny and Robert McBride, and two sisters, Dolly West and Gladys Barker. A funeral service is planned at 3 p.m. Monday at Lynch Funeral Service chapel. Interment will be at Wieland Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
