Greenville, Tex., Jan. 5.--Charley Shepherd, the 14-year-old son of Mr. A. D. Shepherd, died yesterday of injuries received by a runaway horse and was buried to-day. He was leading the horse to water, when the animal took fright, and entangling the young man's body in the rope, dragged him a considerable distance, inflicting serious injuries about the head, which resulted in death.
