Cynthia Smalley

Mrs. Cynthia Smalley, 82, died Thursday at 5:54 PM, in the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. L. Crelia. Mrs. Smalley had been ill for the past few months and had just recently been brought from Brady where she had been living with another daughter, Mrs. H. L. Lackey.

Mrs. Smalley was born in Hardman Co., Tennessee, in 1871 and was married to S. K. Smalley in Hickory Creek, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1944.

Survivors are ten (sic) children: George A. Smalley of Tullahoma, Tennessee, Sam Smalley of Stockton, California; Mrs. H. L. Lackey of Brady; Mrs. W. L. Crelia of Greenville; H. T. Smalley of Houston; Mrs. A. B. Palmore of El Paso; Mrs. Edd Gresham of Palestine; Mrs. Oscar Lambert of Honey Grove, and J. K. Smalley of Honey Grove; thirty grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
