Rites Held For Don Stover

Funeral services for Don Stover, 51, well known Hunt Countian who died suddenly Sunday morning in a Dallas hospital of accident injuries, were held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Shady Grove Baptist Church.

Rev. Fred Moore conducted the rites and burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Jess Moore, Bob Patterson, J.W. Kirk, J.P. Gore, Elmer Isham, and Earl Overall.

The James Coker Peters Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Stover was injured at his home on Route 1 last Friday, when a large limb fell on him while he was attempting to cut down a tree. He was taken to a Dallas hospital in a James Coker Peters ambulance. He was undergoing treatment for a broken hip when complications developed and he died unexpectedly.

He was married to the former Pearl Grotts in 1928.

She survives, along with two sons, Don Jr. and Ray Stover of Greenville; two brothers, Sam Stover of Greenville and Bob Stover of Sherman; and a sister, Mrs. Sam Isham of Greenville.
