Funeral services for Effie Jewell Scarborough Miller,76, of Holiday were at 2 p.m. Friday in the Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel.
Rev. Rick Alkire, pastor of the Loraine Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was in the Colorado City Cemetery.
She died Tuesday in the Ridgeview Nursing Home in Wichita Falls.
Born Nov. 2, 1911 in Hunt County, she was a former resident of Colorado City. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Albert J. Scarborough.
Mrs. Miller was a member of the Baptist Church. She married Donny Miller on Aug. 15 1962 in Hennritta County.
Survivors include her husband, Donny of Holiday; six daughters, Dorothy Pitts, Carol Frank and Sue Powell, all of Wichita Falls;
Barbara Ruderick of Clute, Mary Beck of Los Angeles and Ella McFaddin of Howe; a son, Kenneth Miller of Wichita Falls; a sister,
Gladys Payne of Loraine; two brothers, Otha Scarborough of Colorado City and Parvin Lee Scarborough of Artesia, N.M.; 26 grandchildren and 33 great -grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Archie Pitts, Rex Powell, Marvin Stuckey, Bill Beck, Adam Frank and A. W. Phillips.
