CELESTE — Graveside services for Fannie Mae Seigler Nicholson, 78, of Commerce, formerly of Celeste, are at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, at Celeste-Hogeye Cemetery, with Brother Bob Layman officiating. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home in Commerce.

Mrs. Nicholson died Dec. 24 in Plano. She was born Sept. 25, 1928, in Ridgeway, to Harrison Anderson and Jimmie Marie Wilson. She was a homemaker and a widow, and was a member of Kingston Baptist Church in Kingston. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, reading and singing gospel hymns.

Survivors are two children, Florence Boyd and husband Charlie of Mansfield, Texas, and Ken Koch and Nancy Stewart of Kingston; grandchildren Natalie and Bubba Smithson of Clarksville, Tenn.; Kelly Warren of Winnsboro, William Warren of Celeste, Heather Koch of Garland, Zachary Koch of Garland, and Joshua and Nicole Koch of Commerce; great-grandchildren, Kandi Smithson, Krista Smithson of Clarksville, Tenn..; John Warren of Winnsboro, Shelby Warren of Celeste, Braden Koch of Commerce and Tevin Davis of Commerce; one great-great-grandchild, Lane Warren of Winnsboro; two brothers, Jimmy Anderson of Carriere, Miss., and Ronny Anderson of Celeste; a sister, Carol Talley of Commerce.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Dolly Jones and her stepmother, Lorene Anderson, and loving companion Emil Dearing.

Pallbearers are Larry Blakemore, Keith Dodson, Mark “Booger” Lamm, Brandon Lamm, Sammy Tate Griffis, Virgil Horton and Bubba Smithson.
