G. H. Scarborough Services Sunday

WOLFE CITY - G. H. Scarborough. 77, Rt. 1, Wolfe City, retired farmer, died at 6:45 o' clock Friday morning at his home.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 o' clock this afternoon (Sunday) at the Owens Funeral Chapel here.

The Rev. U C. Broach, Leonard and the Rev. Coral V. Roberts, Greenville. will officiate. Burial will he in Mt. Carmel cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Truce Latimer, Vaden Turner, Ed Traylor, E.E. Humphreys, Emmett Parrish and Archie Young.

Mr. Scarborough was born in Texas Jan. 24. 1880, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Scarborough.

He was married to Lee Gibson on Dec. 17. 1899, and to this union seven children were born. She preceded him in death and July 26, 1950 he was married to Mrs. Ollie Scarborough. He spent his entire life in this area.

Surviving are his wife and the following children: Mrs. F. P. Sharpe, Wolfe City; Mrs. Clyde Barnes, Commerce; Henry Scarborough. Mt. Bellvue, Tex.; Clyde Scarborough, Friona, Tex.; Mrs. C.H. Fleming; Dallas: one brother. Albert Scarborough, Loraine, Tex.: 11 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Among stepchildren surviving are Mrs. Lou Carter, Grapevine: Mrs. Rita London, Bailey; Mrs. Lila White, Mineola: Mrs. Ruth Hansard, Greenville; Sammy Scarborough, Irving; S. R. Scarborough, Amarillo;Jewel Scarborough, Grand Prairie; Hubert Scarborough, Celeste, Bertha Woodson, and other relatives.
