Hazel Belle Woods, 78, of Greenville died the afternoon of April 19, 2006, at Medical City Hospital of Dallas. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Wesley United Methodist Church under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Paul Gould will officiate. Burial will be at Memoryland Memorial Park. Daughter of Vester and Fetna Perdue Austin, she was born July 8, 1927, in Hamburg, Ark. On July 5, 1947, she was married to Boyd Woods in Dallas. Mrs. Woods retired from E-Systems where she worked for 30 years. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and the ALR Fellowship Sunday school class of Wesley United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Mary Jo Woods and Don and Elizabeth Woods; grandchildren Justin, Britni, Austin and Clayton Woods; and several nieces and nephews. Her parents; a brother, Gene Austin; and three sisters, Vera, Ruth and Madlene preceded her in death. Memorials may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, 5302 Highway 69N, Greenville, TX 75401. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Don Taylor, J.L. Boles, Bobby Nitson, Ronald Nitson and James Nitson. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the ALR Fellowship class of Wesley United Methodist Church.
