James Earl Lindsey, 61, of Lone Oak died the morning of July 12, 2006, in Greenville. He was born Nov. 11, 1944, in Hughes Springs, son of George and Thelma Lindsey. He worked as a carpenter in the construction industry and was a well known musician. Mr. Lindsey is survived by his wife, Brenda Lindsey; two sons, Russell Lindsey and Marcus Lindsey; a brother, George Wayne Lindsey; sister Francis Gilmore; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sheba Lindsey, on Oct. 12, 2005, and by his parents. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hooker Cemetery in Lone Oak. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Lynch Funeral Service.
