James Wall, 75 of Greenville, died Sunday at his residence. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Peters Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Jimmy Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow at Memoryland. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. He was born on July 2, 1931, son of Willie and Lulu Wacasey Wall in Greenville. He married Anita Flesher on June 13, 1952, in Greenville. He served in the U.S. Army, was a dairyman and rancher, and of the Jehovah Witness faith. He is survived by his wife, Anita of Greenville; two daughters, Lynn Garcia and Kate Wall, both of Greenville; a brother, Jack Wall of Greenville; sisters Dorothy Wood of Greenville, Gladys White of Dallas, and Louise Lain of Fort Worth; two grandchildren, David Garcia and Katy Wall, both of Greenville; and great-grandchildren Katie Threndyle, Alison Threndyle, and Rachel Garcia. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, David Wall; and brothers Delbert Wall and Elbert Wall. Billy Pitts, Curtis Fuller, Jason Pitts, Seth Garcia, Jon Wall, and Tommy Rowe are pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Nowlin and Jimmy Head.
