Janet Elaine Swart, 55, of Commerce died March 12, 2007, surrounded by the love of her family.
She was born Nov. 13, 1951.
Memorial donations are requested for a playwriting scholarship in her name at Texas A&M University-Commerce.
A celebration of life is scheduled at 2 p.m., March 31, in the Performing Arts Center on the university campus.
Lynch Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
