Funeral services for Jewell B. Williams, 91, of Greenville are at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Howard Strickland officiating. A graveside service is at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Grove Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Williams died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006 in Briarcliff Health Center.
She was born March 4, 1915, in Hunt County to William Wiley Burkett and Minnie Catherine Rhodes. She married Travilla Williams on Nov. 24, 1934, in Mesquite. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors are a son and daughter-in-law, Willis M. and Sherial Williams of Greenville; a daughter, Anita Sue Shiels of Greenville; granddaughter and her husband, Diana and Norland Crow; grandson and his wife, Curtis and Robin Williams; great-grandchildren Matthew Williams, Dylan Williams and Ashley Crow.
She was preceded in death by her husband on April 29, 1999; three brothers, three sisters and her parents.
Pallbearers are Billy Burkett, Harold Burkett, Norland Crow, Billy Roesler, David Roesler and Harry Garlington.
