Celeste, Tex., Jan. 21.--Joel D. WEBB died the 18th instant of pneumonia and was buried the 19th, aged 72 years. He settled in Lamar, now Delta county, in boyhood, and afterwards during the republic acted as ranger one week in seven, in company with John ONSTOT, Zac BIRDWELL, and Judge Jason WILSON, all dead, and John SIMMONS and others. He has lived in Hunt county since 1854.
