Ima Nell Lacy

Funeral services were held on Friday, January 8, 1954, at 2:00 PM for Miss Ima Nell Lacy, 37, who died at her home in Honey Grove on Wednesday, January 6, 1954, after an illness of several months. The last rites were observed at the McKenzie Methodist Church in Honey Grove. The Rev. Leon Martin, pastor of the Bonham Church of the Nazarene, of which Miss Lacy was a member, officiated, with the Rev. James Simpson, Jr., Honey Grove Methodist pastor, and the Rev. T. J. Watts, Honey Grove Baptist pastor, assisting. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery. Miss Lacy was born at Celeste, September 8, 1916. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. B. L. Lacy of Honey Grove and these sisters and brothers: Mrs. Ira Wigley of Gober, Elber Lacy of Ladonia, Mrs. Joe Kilman of Shamrock, Mrs. P. H. Walton and J. C. Lacy of Denison, and Fred Lacy of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
