Mary Sidney Freeman Skinner
Mary Sidney Freeman Skinner, 88, of Greenville died January 28, 2007, in a Greenville nursing facility.
She was born September 8, 1918, in Kellogg, daughter of Elbert Freeman and Bell Freeman. She dedicated her life to being a loving wife and homemaker. She was also a devoted member of the Bethel Baptist Church where she was a charter member.
Survivors are a brother, Herbert C. Freeman of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Skinner; a niece, Linda Marie Long, whom she reared and cared for as a daughter; brothers Hemsel Freeman, Charlie Freeman, Clyde Freeman, Elbert "Black" Freeman, Jr., J. G. Freeman, and Billy Tom Freeman; and one sister, Oneta Freeman Long.
Funeral services are at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 31, 2007, at Lynch Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Park Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, January 30, at the funeral home.
