Commerce, September 20.--

Funeral services for W. M. Mattingly, age 61, will be held from the Sheely Funeral Home Saturday morning at 10:00 AM with Rev. Thomas Gallaher officiating and interment in Rosemound Cemetery.

Mr. Mattingly was born on December 4, 1872, in Kentucky, the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Mattingly.  He came to Texas in 1901, locating in Texarkana, where on November 11, 1900, he was married to Miss Nora Jabe.

He was a member of the Presbyterian Church for fifteen years.

Mr. Mattingly is survived by the following members of his family:  Mrs.. Nora Mattingly, Commerce; and three sons, Jack Mattingly, Commerce; J. C. Mattingly, Lawton, Oklahoma; and Roy Mattingly of Flagstaff, Arizona.  (Saturday, September 21, 1935, The Greenville Morning Herald)
