Neal Wayne Rushing, 42, of Greenville died Friday, Sept. 1, 2006, at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2006, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Clark officiating. Burial is in Wieland Cemetery. He was born Aug. 4, 1964, in Dallas; the son of Neal Hunter and Trevia Jeanette Keller Rushing. Neal was a fabrication operator at Kone for the past six years and was employed at Wing Industries for 15 years prior to Kone. He was of the Baptist faith. In his spare time, Neal was a true Dallas Cowboys and NASCAR fan. Neal enjoyed family gatherings, riding motorcycles with his friends and playing softball for the city league. He was one of kind and loved by many. He will be greatly missed. Surviving are sons, Christopher Neal Rushing and Trey Jacob Rushing, both of Greenville; daughter, Heather Mae Rushing of Greenville; brother, James Rushing of Greenville; sisters and brother-in-law, Michelle Madkins and Angel and Carlos Heath, all of Greenville; grandchildren, Alexa, Taylor and Keira Rushing, all of Greenville; aunt, Betty Mullins of Seven Point; uncles, E.L. Keller of Anna and Harold Keller of Arlington; nephews, Rodney Rushing and Brandon Madkins; nieces, Amber Heath and Allison Heath; and cousins, Ricky Murray and J.D. Murray, both of Greenville. He was preceded in death by his mother, Trevia Jeanette Willis, on July 27, 2003, and father, Neal Hunter Rushing, on Dec. 18, 2002. Pallbearers are Tony Willis, Danny Greensage, Jobie Bunnell, Ronnie Williams, Abundio Lopez and James Kenworthy. Honorary pallbearers are James Madkins, Rodney Rushing, Brandon Madkins, Daniel Greensage and Reecy Davis. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
