WOLFE CITY — Nina G. Maroney, 87, of Greenville died April 23, 2006, at Park Haven Nursing Home in Greenville following a lengthy illness. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Mount Carmel Cemetery. She was born Sept. 8, 1918, in Tigue Station, Tenn. On Dec. 28, 1948, she was married to James R. Maroney; he preceded her in death on Jan. 31, 1995. Mrs. Maroney was a homemaker and a longtime Commerce resident.
Survivors are two daughters and a son-in-law, Patricia and Edward Covey of Iowa City, Iowa, and Linda Maroney of Commerce; and a grandson, David Covey of Iowa City, Iowa. Visitation is from 1 p.m to service time Thursday at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home of Wolfe City.
