Olan R. Wright, Jr., 44, of Garland, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 1982, at Dallas hospital.
Funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 18, 1982, at the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Gary Coleman officiated. Burial was in McWright Cemetery.
He was born in Blue Ridge on August 16, 1937, to Olan R. Wright and Edna Payne Wright. He was married to Deloris Logan in Greenville. A veteran of the US Air Force, he was a finance manager for Vought Corporation. Mr. Wright was a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, of Garland; his mother, Mrs. Edna Keller of Greenville; a son, Brent Wright of Garland; daughters, Mrs. Kim Morgan of Celeste and Stacy Lynn Wright of Garland; brothers, Grover Lee Wright of Celeste and W. R. Wright of Grand Prairie; sisters, Mrs. John Howard of Fort Worth, Mrs. W. D. Marlar of Garland, and Mrs. Berat Mayo of Greenville.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1969.
