Opal Faye Pipkin, 76, of Greenville, formerly of Lone Oak, died Nov. 17, 2006 at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, 2006, at Lone Oak Baptist Church under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Cook officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Visitation is from 6 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Born in Lone Oak on Feb. 8, 1930, she was the daughter of James Hubert “Sky” Wheeless and Lula Pearl “Rick” Wheeless. She was a homemaker, bookkeeper, devoted mother and precious friend. She was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki and Burt Andrew of Greenville, and Kathy and Jim Voss of Greenville; grandchildren, Christy Jones, Natalie Moss and Marissa Voss, all of Greenville; sister, Margie Hutchins of Greenville; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers are Buster Clem, Benton Brummit, William Haddock, Jack Cowley, Rick Houser and Charles Moore.
