Rogene Thompson
January 16, 1983 -- Mrs. Rogene Thompson, 52, of 1212 Powell Rd., Mesquite, died Friday at her home.
Funeral service is pending with Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sullivan Cemetery.
Born July 30, 1930 in Hunt County, she was the daughter of Floyd and Pearl Parish McWright. Mrs. Thompson was a Baptist.
Surviving are her husband, Lee Thompson of Mesquite; mother Pearl Latimer of Greenville; son, Ricky Lee Thompson who is stationed in San Diego with the U. S. Navy; daughter, Vicki Chapin of Commerce; sister Margie Little of Greenville; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
