COMMERCE —Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2007, for Stella Mae Bruton Robnett of Commerce at First United Methodist Church in Commerce, 1709 State Highway 50, with Rev. Lisa Wolcott officiating.

Interment will be at Shiloh Cemetery in Klondike, Texas.

Mrs. Robnett died March 16, 2007, at Presbyterian Hospital of Commerce. She was 97 years, 2 months and 19 days old.

She was born Dec. 25, 1909, in Tira, Texas, in Hopkins County, the daughter of William Isaac and Annie Mae Lee Bruton. She married Dudley Vernon Bruton July 16, 1932, in Hugo, Okla.

She was a homemaker, retail worker and worked with her husband on the farm and dairy. She loved sewing, cooking for her family, gardening, bird watching and playing games. She was a member of Rebekah Lodge.

Survivors are her daughter, Betty Ann Robnett Martin and husband, Allen Lynn Martin; granddaughters, Lynda Martin Footer and husband, Robin, Susan Martin Bruton and husband, Jerry; grandson, Andy Martin and wife, Jenny; great-grandchildren, Ainsley Bruton, Ian Bruton, Amelia Martin and Sara and one sister, Martha (Billie) Rattan of Phoenix, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers, Reed, Buford and Jack Bruton and two sisters, Velma Chestnut and Faye Olson.

Pallbearers are Jim Ainsworth, Ray Robnett, Jerry Robnett, Pilar Larios, Jim Bob Latham, Dick King and Ted Oates.
