George L. Swafford, 72, died on January 21, 1968, at Wesley Manor Rest Home in Greenville, Hunt County, Texas. He had been a resident in Greenville for sixty-five years. He lived at 902 Adams Street, Greenville, Texas. Born on August 24, 1895, in Kingston, Hunt County, Texas, his father was Jim Swafford. His mother's name was unknown. He was a veteran of WWI and was retired from the transfer and storage business. His widow, Mrs. George L. Swafford was the informant. He died from CVA (three days duration) and cerebral arteriosclerosis. Burial was made on January 22, 1968 at Forest Park Cemetery, Greenville, Hunt County, Texas. (04718)
