Nimrod Teague
Nimrod Teague, former resident of Celeste and Wolfe City, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Bill Cassidy in Dallas, on Saturday, June 6, 1953.
Funeral services were held on Monday, June 8, 1953, at the R. W. Owen and Son Funeral Home, Wolfe City, and burial was at Mount Carmel Cemetery near Wolfe City.
He was born on November 28, 1879, and lived in Hunt County since a young man until he moved to Dallas two years ago. He was married to Clara Holt, and she preceded him in death in 1944.
A former rural school teacher, he was a member of the Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his daughter, Mrs. Bill Cassidy, of Dallas; and a granddaughter, Sharon Cassidy.
