Telitha Lucile Ouzts
Telitha Lucile Ouzts, eleven, died at the family home in the Lane community after an illness of diphtheria and services were held on Tuesday, October 17, 1933, conducted by the Rev. Jones of Celeste. Burial followed in the Hogeye community.
The child was born on December 3, 1921, in Upshur County, Texas, and had many friends in this county. She professed faith in Christianity last July and united with the Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Black; sister, Joy Ouzts; stepbrother; two stepsisters; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Wright of White Rock; and several uncles and one aunt.
Her father preceded her in death nine years ago.
