Helen Moore Trotter

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, November 14, 1956, at 2:30 PM at Kavanaugh Methodist Church for Mrs. Helen Moore Trotter, 3502 Texas Street, who died at 11:10 AM, Tuesday, November 13, 1956, after an illness of several months.

Services were conduced by the Rev. Bill Morgan Smith, assisted by the Rev. Fred V. Brewer, pastor of the Lamar Baptist Church. Burial was in the East Mount Cemetery. James-Coker-Peters Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers were J. H. Flewharty, Roy Yandell, Charles Tillery, George Evans, Raymond Dunn, and J. D. Stovall.

Mrs. Trotter was born on March 21, 1910, in Greenville, the daughter of J. R. Moore and Della Moore. She attended Greenville schools, Wesley College, and was a graduate of ET, Commerce.

On May 26, 1937, she was married to Raymond Trotter in Greenville. She was a member of the Kavanaugh Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; one son, R. E. Trotter, Jr.; one daughter, Dellalou; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Moore, of Wewoka, Oklahoma; one brother, Tom Moore of Wewoka, Oklahoma; and an uncle, F. C. Britton of Shreveport, Louisiana.
