Tuck Scarborough Woodson, 78, of Savoy, Texas, formerly of Greenville, died at 3:45 p.m. on Dec. 8 at Texoma Medical Center. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Monday at Coker-Mathews Chapel with Rev. Byron Brown officiating. Burial is at Spring Creek Cemetery in Bailey, Texas. Born on Sept. 7, 1928, in Bailey, Texas, he was the son of Pleasant Richard and Bertha Astoria Scarborough Woodson. He was a farmer and a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Mattie and Jack Elmore of Pine Mills, Texas; sister Lartharee McCannon of Savoy, Texas; sister Loretta Woodson of Savoy, Texas; 26 nieces and nephews; 24 great-nieces and nephews; and 30 great-great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Pleasant Richard Woodson, mother Bertha Scarborough Woodson, three brothers, four sisters, one brother-in-law and two nephews.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
