V. V. Langley

Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 22, 1953, for V. V. Langley, 72, of Fort Worth, who passed away at his home Thursday, August 20, 1953. He had been a resident of Fort Worth for thirty-five years.

Dr. Harrison Baker of Dallas and the Rev. Don Welch of Everman officiated the last rites in the Guardian Funeral Home in Fort Worth. Interment was at Laurel Land Cemetery.

Mr. Langley was a retired butcher. He had been in business in Celeste a number of years ago and was married to the former Ethel Warren of Celeste.

Survivors include his wife; five sons, Ed Langley and Grady Langley of Fort Worth, I. M. Langley, Bush Langley, and Claud Langley of Everman; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was a brother-in-law of Lem Warren, John Warren, and Mrs. Henry Steele, all of Celeste.
