Worley Stapleton
Funeral services for former Greenville resident, Worley Stapleton, 80, of New Braunfels were at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel in San Antonio. Roy Osborne officiated.
Mr. Stapleton died Sunday, July __, 1986, at his residence.
Graveside services were at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, in Memoryland Memorial Park in Greenville.
Mr. Stapleton was born on June 11, 1903, in Kingston to J. O. Stapleton and Maude Stapleton. He was employed by Ling-Temco-Vought in Greenville and Grand Prairie for thirty-one years. He was retired to San Antonio where he worked for Kaplan and Kaplan Property Management Company.
He was a member of the New Braunfels Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Fannie Stapleton of New Braunfels; daughters, Billie Chapman of Austin and Carolyn Burns of San Antonio; brothers, Roy Stapleton of Greenville and Calvin Stapleton of Celeste; and a great-grandson, Edy Stapleton of San Antonio.
He was preceded in death by a son, James Stapleton, and a grandson, Edwin Stapleton.
