W. P. Rasor, 88, Buried Wednesday

Funeral rites for William P. Rasor, 88, were held Wednesday afternoon at W. Y. Goff Chapel, with the Rev. N. D. Gilmore officiating. Burial was in Rosemound Cemetery.

Mr. Rasor died Tuesday, Nov. 14, at his home on East Elm Street after being ill the past ten days.

The retired farmer was born Nov. 2, 1872, at Orange, Mo., the son of Jacob and Mary Rasor, both natives of Ireland. He moved to Texas in 1894 and settled in Delta County. On Aug. 29, 1897, he was married to Miss Laura Hamilton in Commerce.

Surviving are his widow. Mrs. Laura Rasor: three daughters, Mrs. Joe Pemberton of Commerce, Mrs. Essie Walker of Houston, and Mrs. Marie Door of Beaumont: one son Ted Rasor of Lake Charles La.: six grandchildren: and three great grandchildren.
