Joe E. Young
Final rites were held on Friday, December 7, 1951, at 2:00 PM for Joe E. Young at the Hickory Creek Methodist Church. The pastor, the Rev. Raymond Tromplar officiated, assisted by the Rev. R. E. Parker of Prosper. Burial was in Mount Carmel Cemetery east of Wolfe City.
Mr. Young died early Wednesday, December 5, 1951, at a Wolfe City hospital after a brief illness.
Survivors include a brother, C. O. Young of the Hickory Creek community; four sisters, Mrs. W. I. Nelson of Leonard, Mrs. Earl Felty of Connersville, Oklahoma, Mrs. E. E. Floyd and Miss Minnie Young of the Hickory Creek community; sixteen nieces and nephews.
