Arthur G. Titus

Arthur G. Titus, prominent longtime resident of the White Rock community, died at his home there at 4:30 Sunday morning and will be buried following services at he White Rock Baptist Church at 2:00 PM Tuesday. Interment will be at the Webb Hill Cemetery; Rev. H. T. Money will conduct the services. Death was due to heart failure.

Mr. Titus is survived by his widow, a daughter, Mrs. S. R. Granberry of Celeste, and three sons, Homer Titus, Ray Titus, and Elmer Titus of White Rock, and by a sister, Mrs. S. C. Buck of Stephenville.

He was born near Ladonia, but moved with his parent into Hunt County and had been well known in this section for many years. He was one of the most active and prosperous ginners of this section. A member of the Baptist Church, he was noted for his liberality in supporting all public and charitable enterprises.

His many friends here sympathize with the family in their bereavement.
