Service Records of 3rd Infantry,

Texas State Troops

TX Flag

Abstracted from National Archives Microfilm Publication #323, Compiled Service Records of Confederate Soldiers who Served in Organizations from the State of Texas, Roll 281

No names A thru F were found in the service records, it is likely that a page is missing from the original roll. On the basis of statements in other State Troops records, seven other men are listed at the end of this roster as having probably served in this company.  Men marked with a "star" have evidence of being from Kaufman County.  Additional details about the men is placed in brackets and comes from census records and other state and local records.  H1860 and K1860 refer to the 1860 Censuses of Henderson and Kaufman counties, respectively.
