HISTORY: The original house was a one and one-half story rock with rear saltbox addition. Wood frame attached structure was built about 1900, or moved up to the site. The rock portion is "Sunday House" plan with 6x6 windows and rock sills. The frame portion haas washerboard siding with 4x4 windows in a rectangular plan. This pioneer German house was the Alvin Bierman home. In 1984 Dr. and Mrs. Curtis Heinrick purchased the house and restored it.
